Different jobs. The federation and the sports schools have ratings, norms, protocols and an annual calendar with events like the Minin and Pozharsky Cup. We have a weeknight for adult amateurs in an anti-cafe or a coffee house: fast games, the emphasis on conversation and no results recorded. The two worlds sit happily side by side.
