This consent is optional and separate from the consent to personal data processing: the app, the bot and tournaments work as usual without it. Service messages - about your tournaments, games and results - arrive without it too; their terms are in the terms of use.
You can unsubscribe at any time with a single message.
By pressing the “Subscribe” button, or by ticking a separate box consenting to messages in a form in the app, in the bot or in a chat, I (the User), acting freely, of my own will and in my own interest, give specific, informed, unambiguous and conscious consent, including consent to the processing of my personal data, to receive marketing and information messages from the Operator.
The Operator is the Vibe Chess project: an over-the-board chess club and an app for running chess tournaments.
Pressing any other button or closing a notice on the site - including the cookie notice - does not count as consent to receive messages.

Data under this consent is collected by the Operator.
This consent remains valid until I unsubscribe. I have been informed that I may unsubscribe at any time while it is valid. Unsubscribing does not cancel the consent to data processing that the app and the bot need to work.
I understand that I can opt out of marketing and information messages at any time by sending the Operator a message on Telegram (message us) asking to be removed from the mailing list and stating the contact at which I receive the messages.
