Chess tournament sponsorship and branding

We run evenings regularly - your brand can be part of them

For every meetup we bring boards, clocks, scoresheets and table signs, set up the playing area, announce the winners and film what happens. All of these are media that already exist. A brand can take its place in them: in the playing area, on the playing materials, in the tournament name, in the prizes and in our footage from the evening.

This is not a banner that people scroll past. The logo sits next to what someone is absorbed in for two hours - and it gets into the frame naturally rather than being pasted in afterwards.

What can be branded

The list is closed and short: it contains only what we physically control ourselves.

01
The tournament area

Your branding in the space where the games are played: a banner, a stand, the dressing of the host's table. This is what ends up in every photo of the evening

02
Playing materials

Scoresheets, table number signs, starting lists and the final standings - all of it is printed for every evening and can carry your logo

03
The tournament name

An evening or a series can carry your name: "a tournament supported by …". The name goes into the announcement, the standings table and the report

04
Prizes

Your prize for the winner and separate awards - best newcomer, best game of the evening. The prizegiving is the moment photographed most often

05
Announcements

A mention in the announcement of the evening wherever we publish it ourselves

06
Filming and the report

We take photos and video at our meetups. The clips and the report on the evening are ready-made material in which the brand appears naturally rather than pasted in

What is not on the list: other people's venues, other people's social media and partners' accounts. We do not dispose of what does not belong to us, and we do not promise placement where the decision is not the club's to make.

Four ways to take part

One evening

A trial: your presence on a specific date. It commits neither you nor us to anything

A series of evenings

Several meetups in a row or a season. Recognition works better this way than from a single touch

An industry tournament

Your brand supports an evening for a specific audience - developers, doctors, finance people, lawyers. Useful when that audience is your customer

Your own turnkey tournament

We build the whole event around you, with your name and your guest list. That is no longer sponsorship but a commission - and it is priced differently

Industry evenings, which support is most often tied to - tournaments by industry. A whole tournament of your own - turnkey.

Who it suits

Those who sell to this audience

Our evenings attract working adults from an office background. If they are your customers, a conversation makes sense; if not, we will say so honestly

Those who need content

Every evening leaves behind real footage: people, boards, emotions. Shooting that specially costs more than being present where it happens anyway

Those tired of banners

A chess evening is a calm setting where nobody is shouting over anyone. A logo next to a board is less irritating than one squeezed between two ad breaks

And straight away, what we do not do: we do not promise awareness, reach or leads. We are responsible for the placement and for an honest report after the fact - where the logo was, how many people came, what footage we got. We do not draw up attractive figures in advance: you will check them against the report, and it is better if they match.

Let's discuss a placement

Write to us: what the brand is, which audience you need and what matters more - presence at the evenings, content or an event of your own. We reply the same day, tell you about the upcoming dates and name the terms.

Frequently asked questions

How many people will see our logo?

We give exact numbers for upcoming evenings in discussion - they depend on the date, the venue and the format. We will not publish attractive figures here: you will check them against the report anyway, and it is better if they match.

What exactly can be branded?

The tournament area, the host's table, scoresheets and table signs, the tournament name, prizes and awards, the announcement of the evening and our footage from it. Other people's venues and other people's social media are not on the list - we cannot dispose of what does not belong to us.

Do you guarantee awareness or leads?

No. We are responsible for the placement and for a report after the fact: where the logo was, how many people came, what footage we got. Promising an effect for the brand would be dishonest, and there is no way to verify it anyway.

Can we buy brand space on the boards themselves?

That is open to discussion and depends on the type of placement: the equipment is tournament equipment, and a sticker must not get in the way of play or cover the squares. What definitely works is branding the area, the host's table, the scoresheets and the prizes.

Will we receive materials after the event?

Yes, that is part of the arrangement: photos from the evening and a short report - how many players, how it went, where the placement was. Video depends on the format and is agreed in advance.

We are an alcohol or betting brand. Will you take us?

We will tell you honestly at the conversation stage. Our evenings bring together people of different ages, and there are categories we will not place - better to find that out straight away than after the budget has been agreed.

Can you make a whole tournament around our brand?

Yes, but that is a different service: we build the event around you, with your name, venue and guest list. It is priced as a tournament commission, not as sponsorship.

How quickly can we start?

To take part in the next evening, a few days is usually enough: printing the materials and agreeing the placement. For a series it is better to allow a couple of weeks.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the format and the duration: one evening, a series or an industry tournament. Tell us what interests you and we will quote a price for the task.
