This is a basic endgame: queen and rook against a lone king, White to move. Two heavy pieces mate easily without any help from their own king - they work as a ladder, cutting the king off rank by rank and file by file.
White has the king on h1, the queen on g1 and the rook on f1; the black king is on d5, in the centre. The plan is simple: cut the king off with one piece, check with the other, squeeze him towards the edge, and never leave a piece where it can be attacked.
Queen and rook against a king is one of the first endings taught, because converting a large material advantage has to be automatic. The dangers here are stalemate and hanging a piece to a check.
